7 Year Itch War

During the summer of 1973, long-time enemies Archaeologists and Anthropologists escalated their light skirmishes to a full-fledged conflagration. The war starred Marilyn Manson as "The Guy" and is often called the "Frenching Indian War".

[edit] Beginnings

The war began when Arch-Dude Ferdinand was shot and died in his car after a long a fruitful life. The Archaeologists began tunneling under the Secret Lair of the Anthropologists, who in turn left artifacts from their own culture in the villages of the Archaeologists, thus distrupting the natural evolution of their culture.

Much death and distraction ensued during the long years of the war. Alfred Nobel's earlier invention of the Very Expensive Sharp And Pointy Thing was put to heavy use during this time.

The war ended with the Treaty of Erstwhile which carved up the post-modern landscape of Academia between the warring factions. Shortly after, the United States of Germania broke terms and the three year Button War began.
