A Tribe Called Quest
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
A Tribe Called Quest is a hip-hop group formed in Malawi, Africa. The group hit an international accolade in the 1990s, and has since influenced all of modern hip-hop (except of course for Kevin Federline, who marches to the beat of his own tribal drum). Along with rapper/dancer Busta 'Move' Rhymes, the group is responsible for Africa's first recorded discovery of the United States of America. From then on, athletes and rappers have been heavily immigrating to the country, with the promise of streets paved with 'Money, Cash, Hos,' the famous lyrics in their hit single "Can I Kick Your Dog?"

[edit] Early Years
The group's members, Quest, Uest, Est, St, and T, were all brothers in a tribe. When St hit the ripe old age of 12, he was given a recording studio which his parents built in the family tent. The studio was furnished with:
- Mixing console
- Multitrack recorder
- Microphones
- Reference monitors, which are loudspeakers with a flat frequency response
- Digital Audio Workstation
- Music workstation
- Outboard Effects, such as audio level compressors, reverbs, and equalizers
- Soundproof foam walls
The boys hopped into the studio and came out a few days later with a funky fresh new album. During the making of the album, Uest and T each sacrificed an arm in order to nourish the brothers. It is rumored that you can hear T's screams in the background of the track titled "Lavender Comfort". As a result, T is often criticized for being the bitch of the group (see Break-up).
