Alan Cox
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Alan Cox (also known as Rob Zombie) is the half-brother of freedom fighter Linus Torvalds. He is most famous for having a large beard, drinking copious amounts of ale and hacking on KDE. Originally, Alan believed he was of Welsh origin; however, after an administrative error on his birth certificate was discovered, he realised he was born in Cuba where he was a student of Karl Marx.
In honour of his 10th year hacking on KDE, Fidel Castro announced that the next chip coming off Intel's fabrication plant at Guantanamo Bay would be named in his honour[1].
Mr. Cox is married to
, formerly know as Telsa Gwynne. Telsa, after being fed up with people getting the surname wrong (by assuming it to be the same as her husband's), decided to change her name by deed-poll. Although this reduced the amount of junk mail considerably, it interfered with her rĂ´le as GNOME's leading Feature-removal Mistress; the effects of this were great, leading to a Debian General Resolution to add an additional symbol to the Unicode standard. This allowed TFrMFKaT (The Feature-removal Mistress Formerly Known as Telsa) to again be contacted on MSN messenger.
Unfortunately for
, in an effort to reduce unnecessary features, GNOME 1.84 (the "Sweating Bullock" release) removed all non-ASCII Unicode characters.
Now living in New South Wales, they share an interest in traditional Welsh curry and enjoy welcoming vistors to their outdoor hot-tub[2].
