[edit] Apple Trickery

Apple trickery is a general term for all the methods employed by computer company Apple to convince people to buy their products. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Making their products look stupidly nice and/or metallic, to appeal to the customer's inner magpie.
  • Giving people those stickers which no one knows what to do with.
  • Releasing the lawyers on any other company they think is using the same names as them or thieving ideas from them. Also on any company which has an idea they wish they'd thought of first, or annoys them in any other way.
  • Using Photoshop.
  • Creating products that never break, but making them expensive and unable to play computer games.
  • Making keyboards printed with odd squiggles, which break instantly if you spill any form of beverage in them.
