Archie MacPherson is a type of fossil, excavated by Scottish scientists from the remains of Filip Sebo in 2001.

The fossil was found to have immense bias towards the older days of Scottish football, and a great facility for over-excitement, making him an ideal choice to sit on a couch on Monday night Television X, alongside fellow presenters Abi Titmuss and Jeffrey Dahmler, where the three would anal-yse the "action" and moan about the good old days of pornography.

He featured on Godspeed You! Black Emperor's Lift Your Scottish Cup Like Antennas to Heaven, playing the pink trombone. He also plans to launch a hip-hop career under the name of Jim Delahunt.
