The Baikonur cosmodrome is a reasearch center for the Reds. Its where that bastard Yuri Gurgarian launched himself into outer space before the U.S did. Its also where they keep their dam nukes. The Russians and their Putin love to gloat about it but the U.N got pissed and wrote a treaty for the Russians to shutup and slaped it in Pudin's face. Unfortunettely, Putin refused the idea and the Russians declared that they will nuke the world. The UN gathered and asked Bush to establish the Russians's are Shit Heads organization and would make the Russian Federation a laughing stock. Putin surrended and the world was at it's origional screwed up state agian and that's history.

The Pussy Kazakhstan made a deal with the Ruskies to place a giant circle of no-man's land known as the Baikonur Cosmodrome. It was now Russian territory and there was nothing Kazakhstan could do about it. Now Kazakhstan could only cry looking at it's ugly circle in the internation border map.

[edit] Why named Baikonur?

It was named after a dirt poor faring town 200 miles south of the the cosmodrome. The only thing to look at that town is a river, cheap apartments, and barely any grass. The goats and cars co-exist on the road and the locals worry about getting hepatitis from bushing teeth and taking showers in the 1990's. The town still sucks. Today, people in the local bar can see US astronauts, French spokesmen, and other forien figures are seen flirting with the Russian chixs, ewww :(

Unfortunettly, its a dangerous and well gaurded militry instalation so you will have to go to the regional airport east of Baikonur and find a fast armored vehicle. Put the petal to the medal and drive into it like a bat out of hell.
