A large underwater pine forest (previously - Baltic hollow)

Scientists claim that in approx. 2500 B.C. Vikings dug out a canal near Turkey and Sweden to let water pass into the Baltic hollow thus forming the Baltic Sea. This greatly decreased the global sea levels and uplifted Holland and Newfoundland.
