[edit] Rules of Big Brother
- No guests in the house are allowed to have sex. (This rule is FREQUENTLY broken)
- They can only have 1 pair of pants, 1 shirt, 1 pair of socks and 1 pair of underwear.
- There are Camera's everywhere and they make high pitched noises all day long!
- Each Contestant participates in contests, which usually involves getting hurt and being yelled at many times by all the other contestants, especially when you lose!
- No paper and no pens are allowed but if you're lucky enough to find them, there are a few guns carefully placed in the building! WARNING- only to be used in extreme cases!
- No talking about the Big Brother people (Republicans) during your stay! No discussing the inside world with the outside
[edit] Famous House Guests
- Tom Cruise - in 2003, he entered the house and left on Finale Night! The guy ate everyone's food! Guests were afraid to vote him out because then his "Scientology" Alliance would attack back!
- Jed Bush - He entered the house in 2002 but was soon evicted because he lost the vote, even though he tried desperately to rig it! (just like in Florida).
- John Travolta - 2003, Immediately joined the Scientology Alliance when he entered the House, just after Cruise came in. Travolta likes to hit on other women while inside the house.

[edit] Events at Big Brother
- Head Of Household Competition
- guests compete against each other until exhaustion to decide who gets to run the house, which includes harassing, beating, yelling at all the house guests and Nominating 2 other guests for daily beatings and eventual eviction or death, whichever happens first!
- Power of Veto da Beato
- Guests have the right to fight (literally) for the Veto da Beato which can save a guest from eviction (if they've died, it's too late haha) But whoever loses in the competition is allowed to be starved for 24 hours without food or water!
- Food Competition
- These are very fun but only for those who get to watch! In order to get food for the house, you have to eat food! But this isn't no ordinary food. It can be anything, there's no food that is barred from this competition! One guest even had to go to the hospital once! Many have gotten sick from it.
- Luxury Competitions
- Ya you heard right, you get to play for items like guns and knives and tv's and music! Sometimes the luxuries have even been strippers and Hookers! Or if you're married you get to have your husband/wife come in for the night and have wild hot Sex!
[edit] Winners
The first winner was Jessica Simpson back in 2004.
Season 2 was won by Renny Martyn in 2008.
[edit] The House
The house has a total of five floors! The house is made to hold a maximum of 24 people at a time, but this year, they made a House Next Door that can hold five people!!! Here is an overview of the house:
[edit] First floor
- Backyard - Where Head of Household competitions, Power of Veto competitions, and the rabid pit bulls are held!! It also contains a huge swimming pool and a hot tub that's great for late night orgies.
- Kitchen - Where they cook and eat food! Duhh!
- Dining Room - They eat food there too... hence why it's called a "Dining Room". They also nominate HouseGuests for Eviction in that room!!!
- Sitting Area - A small area with a few chairs and a potted plant.
- Diary Room - Actually a closet with a chair in it. In this room the Houseguests divulge their innermost feelings to the producers (aka: Republicans) about the show.
[edit] Second floor
- Green bedroom - A bedroom with green walls and five green striped beds!
- Blue bedroom - A bedroom with blue walls and five blue checkered beds!
[edit] Third floor
- Living room - The houseguests sit here when they wait to find out which nominee is evicted! Has two chairs and three huge couches!
- Pink bedroom - A bedroom with pink walls and five pink polka-dotted beds!
- Purple bedroom - A bedroom with purple walls and four purple beds!
- Bathroom - A bathroom with a toilet and shower and sinks!!!
[edit] Fourth floor
- Billiards room - A big room with a pool table and an open bar!!!
[edit] Fifth floor
- Chess balcony - A balcony looking down on the rest of the house that has a chess board and weird-ass sofa!
- Head of Household room - A massive bedroom with a King size bed and a private bathroom that has a huge bathtub in it!
[edit] Big Brother: Season 2
[edit] Phase one
Big Brother 2 started January 1, 2008!!! On Day 1, 21 HouseGuests entered the house's backyard... but there was a BIG twist! Big Brother said that in order to save the HouseGuests the trouble of worrying who'd be first out, one person would have to be voted out before even going in! The HouseGuests voted at sunrise of Day 1, and it looked like Ian was going to be evicted, but six people in a row voted out Kickle and he ended up being the unlucky one (or lucky one maybe!!!). Big Brother then announced he had eliminated the concept of the Power of Veto for no good reason. Over the next two weeks, Isabella and Sameer were booted using the standard Eviction process.
Big Brother's second cruel twist was unhatched on Day 14 only seconds after Sameer was kicked out of the House! Show host Julie Chen revealed that in order for the show to last a whole year they needed more HouseGuests so they don't run out! Big Brother immediately sent in three more HouseGuests: Dylan, Davidik, and Purificacion. All hell broke loose, when the original 18 said it was unfair, and it only got worse when Davidik won Head of Household for that week. Over the next two weeks, Hush and Quackers got evicted. Big Brother immediately decided that the house looked "too empty" and added three more HouseGuests: Umbra, Peck, and Jillian, bringing the total number of remaining HouseGuests to 22. The house functioned as normal, and Dylan was evicted on Day 35. He however, was immediately replaced with a new HouseGuest named Daisy. Peck was sent packing soon after, but was replaced with Miss the same day. Over the next few weeks, Gripper, Jillian, and Emily were evicted. Day 63, however saw Olivia, the winner of a contest sponsored by Kit Kat enter the house.
Davidik and Miss were evicted in the following two weeks, and Big Brother decided it was time for a new twist to the game. On Day 77, March 18th, Big Brother added elderly, married couple Ron and Della to the house. It was immediately proclaimed that together, they would serve as the Head of Household for the week. The couple nominated Daisy and Johnny, and Daisy was booted at the conclusion of the week. Minutes after Daisy left, Big Brother again decided the house was too empty and added four more HouseGuests: Vinny, Grim, Oliver, and Zap. This brought the total number of remaining contestants to 23.
[edit] Phase two
Purificacion and Johnny were evicted in the next two weeks, with yet another new HouseGuest, Mitch, being added in minutes after Johnny's eviction. Brian was evicted the next week, and Big Brother added in two more HouseGuests, Henry and Excela, just for the hell of it. Olivia, Grim, and Vinny were evicted in the subsequent weeks, with new HouseGuest Seltzer being added in shortly after Vinny left. Raggle was evicted next, and then Seltzer was sent out on Day 140. Big Brother added in two new HouseGuests on Day 140, Terry and Yen. This time, there was a twist though: the Head of Household would have to nominate either Terry or Yen, and then choose any one other contestant to face the chop. Yen was booted on Day 147, and Terry was booted the following week due to her extreme unpopularity in both the House and the outside world. Immediately following Terry's eviction, host Julie Chen revealed a secret "House Next Door". Big Brother added 6 new HouseGuests (Blake, Bunny, Elka, Gina, Jake, and Nashville) to the "House Next Door", unbeknownst the other HouseGuests. It was then revealed that the HouseGuest evicted this week, would not actually leave the house, but would become the Head of Household for the "House Next Door". This houseguest will immediately choose to evict one of the 6 new HouseGuests, and then rejoin the Main House minutes later with the five "House Next Door" survivors. Della ended up being fake evicted, and when given the choice, evicted Bunny on Day 160. Della returned moments later with the five new HouseGuests, much to the chagrin of Froggy and Excela. During Bunny's eviction interview, she was given the power to choose the next Head of Household, and gave the power to Elka. Elka later decided to honor Xavier's previous nominations, and Froggy was evicted over Della by a solid margin.
[edit] Phase three
Phase three kicked off with Renny winning Head of Household and nominating Ron and Zap, with Zap being evicted with 86%. In the following week Umbra was evicted with 90% of the vote over the increasingly popular Elka. Over the next few weeks, Oliver, Jake, Kiki, Excela, Lisa, and Abigail were evicted using the standard nominations process. Minutes after Abigail's eviction, Big Brother set the HouseGuests an Endurance Head of Household competition that involved keeping your hand in a large cake for the longest amount of time. Iris and Ian lasted over 30 hours, with Ian eventually taking his hand out of the cake. Nashville and Xavier were nominated by Iris, with Nashville being evicted that week. Mitch was evicted the following week in the second closest vote of the season, followed by Henry, Gina, Josh, and Elka the weeks after.
[edit] Phase four
Big Brother added three additional HouseGuests, Neep, Sammy, and Walter, on Day 266. In the following weeks, Ron, Chelsea, Iris, and Neep were evicted. The next week saw the two most popular HouseGuests face off in an Eviction showdown, and in the closest vote of the season, Ian defeated Xavier by a margin of .08%. In the folllowing week, Ian nominated Blake and Renny for Eviction, with Renny handily winning the face-off. Immediately after Blake's eviction, the final set of late-entrant Housemates entered the house: Mulligan, Schwill, and Xiang. Big Brother immediately proclaimed that the Day 0 Housemates would be exempt from the Nominations process that week, and that only late-entrants were eligible to be Head of Household or face Eviction. Schwill was consequently evicted over Della, after spending only one week in the house. The next week, Dent won Head of Household, and tried to create a pact with them not to nominate any "Original" housemates. Renny agreed to the pact, but Ian refused to promise he would follow through with Dent's plan. Dent nominated late entrants Xiang and Walter, with Xiang being decisively evicted. The following week, Mulligan saw the exit with the second highest eviction percentage this season (92%). One of the last remaining original HouseGuests, Dent, left following Mulligan. Della was evicted in 5th place, leaving the Final four HouseGuests to battle it out. Ian won the subsequent final Head of Household competition, and chose to nominate Renny and Walter, with Walter being the final HouseGuest evicted under the standard process.
[edit] Final Phase
Immediately following Walter's eviction, the three remaining HouseGuests were put against the public vote in order to determine the winner. Votes in the final round were for a HouseGuest rather than against a HouseGuest. The 3rd Place finisher would be evicted the following week, and receive a $100,000 cash prize. This HouseGuest was Sammy, leaving Ian and Renny to square off for the show's $500,000 prize fund. The phonelines later were shut and Renny won with 52% of the vote and winning the $500,000 leaving Ian with the $250,000 runner-up place prize.

[edit] Controversy and Criticism
[edit] Crowd noise
Critics often point out that the live audience present at Eviction shows are abrasive loudmouths. Crowds are present at all Evictions (with the exception of Kickle's sunrise Eviction) and have very rarely given evicted HouseGuests a positive response. A recent article published by Time Magazine noticed that after reviewing the tapes of all Big Brother 2 "Eviction" episodes, Roseanne Barr noted that only a few popular HouseGuests (Peck, Emily, Johnny, Brian, Olivia, Kiki, Mitch, Elka, Ron, Xavier, Della, Walter, Ian, and Renny) received no boos upon their exit.[1]
[edit] Influence from the outside world
Season 2 garnered large amounts of controversy for the fact that when a HouseGuest's eviction was announced, the percentage of the vote they received was announced as well. Several journalists criticized this action as it was believed that this gave HouseGuests how well they are being perceived in the house. Additionally, journalist Bill O'Reilly pointed out that following the Eviction of Peck, HouseGuests deduced that his Eviction percentage (the highest yet at the time)and the fact that audible cheering was heard during his exit, evidenced that Xavier was popular in the outside world. This caused Xavier to be nominated strategically by Heads of Household in later weeks with other HouseGuests that were near certain to get the axe. [2]
[edit] Copious amounts of additional HouseGuests
Critics have noted that throughout the second season, unnecessary amounts of additional HouseGuests have been added to the game in a desperate ploy to boost ratings. The "Intruders" were seen as controversial due to the fact that they were still eligible to win, despite having to survive less Evictions than original HouseGuests. Also, Bob Saget noted that the Intruder HouseGuests had unfair knowledge of how the contestants are perceived in the outside world, as well as knowing secrets in the house. The most noted use of unfair knowledge occurred on Day 78 when Intruder HouseGuests Ron and Della nominated Daisy for Eviction based on actions she displayed on television. This event occurred on a smaller scale earlier on Day 75 when Umbra nominated Emily and Kiki (who were both extremely popular at the time) solely because she wished to eliminate a strong contender from the game. This however, caused viewers to see her as a traitor, and Umbra was overwhelmingly evicted on the first opportunity given 17 weeks later.
