Blackburn is a town in Lancashire in England. Built in the year of 1905, Blackburn is the only place in the UK that permanently smells of piss. Blackburn is considered by many to be the worlds greatest place. Until it was destroyed by nuclear bomb ib the Cold War. However over the past decade it it has risen from it's radioactive ashes to emerge as an Islamic state.

The name Blackburn comes from the spanish word 'el blacko' and 'el burno', their meanings being 'shit' and 'tip'. However after the nuclear bomb and the town's reconstruction, it is now known by the name of 'Blakistan'.

Blackburn was liberated from the Japanese by the Spanish in 1904. However 30 minutes later they realised what a huge mistake they had made and tried to give it back to the Japanese. The Japanese weren't interested, and were that happy to lose Blackburn as they were paranoid the Spanish were going to try and flog it back to them. As a result, the Japanese fled to the other side of the world and hid on a island. Scared that they will end up with Blackburn again, the Japanese remain there to this day. The Spanish ran off too, leaving the town to the English, were they built it up to the town we know until the Cold War.
[edit] Nuclear Attack
Contrary to popular belief, nuclear weapons WERE fired in the tension between American and the Soviet Union. Wanting to demonstrate the power of their wonderful nation, the Soviets wanted to send a warning shot to the West to let them know they had a huge nuclear arsenal. They needed to target a city that wouldn't matter to the Western powers, but would let them know they meant business. When the word 'Shittest city or town in the world' was typed in to the nuclear supercomputer, the only place to come up was Blackburn. Preceeding as planned, the Soviets unleashed nuclear hell upon Blackburn, devestating it in the process. The town's market hall was heavily damaged, but still remains (and is still used) to this day.

After the nuclear attack, most of it's population was wiped out. However a Pakistani family survived after hiding in a beer keg. They emerged and renamed Blackburn to Blackistan. Over the years they have multiplied and unsuccessfully attempted to build the town up to it's former being. However, as of 2006, the town still looks like what it did after the nuclear attack.
