Bloody Hatchet in the Dark is a game created by me, to entertain all those that have a castle setting, are bored at a party, and happen to have a bloody hatchet on hand. I was inspired for the name of it by the fact that you use a bloody hatchet, and the game must be in the dark. How did I come up with this ingenious game? Well, the idea came to me once in the few moments after I murdered all of my friends with a bloody hatchet.

The game involves one person being the "serial killer", and the rest of the players being "potential victims". The object of the game for the "serial killer" is to murder all of the "potential victims" with the bloody hatchet. If the finishing blow is delivered with anything else other than the bloody hatchet, the kill is counted as void and the "serial killer" loses the game. The object of the game for the "potential victims" is to subdue the "serial killer" by any means neccesary or be the last survivor of the game, though if they deal the finishing the blow with the bloody hatchet, then the kill is void and THEY lose the game.

The Official Rules[edit]

  1. The serial killer must conceal his face (preferably via a hockey mask or black hood) and wear gloves at all times.
  2. All potential victims (preferably hot chicks) must be unarmed, though they can use any weapon they find in the location, though cannot plant any before the game.
  3. At least 1 player in "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark" must not know you are playing "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark".
  4. The game must be set in the DARK.
  5. Once the sun rises, the game is over.
  6. The surviving "potential victim" in "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark" always wins the prerequisite prize of being killed with a bloody hatchet in the dark. Then all extra prizes may follow. They usually consist of coffins and headstones that have "Winner of "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark" carved into them. Depends on funds.
  7. If the "serial killer" wins, he wins the passports and identification of all of the "potential victims" aswell as right of auditor of the will.
  8. The game must be set in a creepy location, for example a castle or mansion.
  9. In order to "bloody the hatchet" one of the following methods are applicable: goat's blood, virgin's blood, your mother's blood, the lead-singer of MCR's blood, or if you're a die-hard "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark" fan, your own blood. CAUTION: People have died from blood loss before they even begin playing "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark", do not run your cut under cold water or it will bleed more.
  10. Once "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark" is over, the "serial killer" has one more task: pin the murders on one of the victims, and disappear.
  11. Murders MUST be committed with a Bloody Hatchet.

Variations[edit]

There have been many variations of "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark", all over the world. The most notable ones with their own specific rules are as follows:

  • Bloody Hatchet in the City

This is the most commonly played variation of "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark", often described as being a better game than the original. Unlike the original, this game only starts after the first kill, and is usually played over a period of weeks, rather than one night. The following rules are added on to the original's:

  1. All "potential victims" have to be hot chicks.
  2. The "serial killer" has to be either repulsive to women, or incredibly attractive. No tweeners allowed.
  3. The setting must be a large city of some kind.
  4. NO players can know you are playing "Bloody Hatchet in the City".

Rules that are removed from the original:

  1. The game must be set in the DARK.
  2. Once the sun rises, the game is over.
  3. The game must be set in a creepy location, for example a castle or mansion.
  • Bloody Hatchet in the Dark (Bible Edition)

In fact, "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark (Bible Edition)" is more like "Bloody Hatchet in the City" than "Bloody Hatchet in the Dark". Specifically because the game does go on during the daytime, and it can last for longer than a night. The following rules are added on to the original's:

  1. All killings must be of a sacrificial or religious nature. You do not have to use a bloody hatchet.
  2. The "serial killer" must be a religious fanatic or atheist fanatic.
  3. All "potential victims" must have committed a crime, and should preferably be prostitutes.
  4. The game can last for no longer than a week. After a week has expired and the "serial killer" still has not murdered all of his "potential victims" in a religious or sacrificial manner, he loses, and is sentenced to life imprisonment. Instantly.
  5. All murders must take place in a religious sanctuary of some kind.

Rules that are removed from the original:

  1. The game must be set in the DARK.
  2. Once the sun rises, the game is over.
  3. The game must be set in a creepy location, for example a castle or mansion.
  4. Murders MUST be committed with a Bloody Hatchet.
  • Roundhouse Kick in the Dark

The following rules are added on to the original's:

  1. The "serial killer" must be Chuck Norris.
  2. Murders must be committed with a roundhouse kick.

Rules that are removed from the original:

  1. The serial killer must conceal his face (preferably via a hockey mask or black hood) and wear gloves at all times.
  2. All potential victims (preferably hot chicks) must be unarmed, though they can use any weapon they find in the location, though cannot plant any before the game.
