Get ready for fun. And choking on cubes.

Boggle (from the Latin Boglitasis, meaning to boggle) is an extreme party game for dangerous idiots(invented in 1934 by Simon Ray of NASA fame). The game ships with 57 white, dice-sized cubes, upon each side of which is printed a letter of the alphabet. Inside each cube is a rich, creamy center made of Polonium 210 - an unintentional manufacturing mistake that has never been corrected in the game's 18-year production run.

[edit] Official Rules

  • Each player takes it in turn to choose, at random, a cube from the original 57 available - but does not look at which cube they are selecting.
  • The player shows the cube to the other players, then swallows it quickly.
  • The other players have 3 minutes to try and describe which letters were on the cube that was eaten, without actually mentioning the letters involved out-loud, or using them in the words they speak.
  • If the other players are unsuccessful, they each have to swallow 2 cubes each.
  • Play continues until the cubes run out, or until an ambulance has to be called.

[edit] Difficulty

Rounds can become increasingly difficult if the cube swallowed was covered with the letters A, E, I, O or U, as clues have to be spoken in a mangled, jumbled fashion; for example, when trying to give the clue "COW",

Only for the, only for the, only for the hard-core Bog-gle massive.

The manufacturers of Boggle also produce a more difficult version of the game, Boggle Supreme. This version has cubes that are 3 times the size of the original and all the letters are printed in Spanish, using the Wingdings font.
