Bubble Boy

Bubble Boy (1899-infinity) is one of the greatest cyborgs known to man. His fame started when he became the youngest astronaut in NASA at the precious age of 16. On his third trip to the Moon in 1913, his spaceship crashed with orbiting space junk, hurling him and his crew back to earth. He was the only survivor. However this is not as ill-fated as it seems, as the Japanese government only had enough Project-X funds to build one cyborg from his few remains.

The conversion, while keeping his fine singing voice (said to be rivaled only by Buckaroo Banzai), unfortunately destroyed the majority of his memory. He has spent the rest of his days in his cybernetic hypersuit pondering the mysteries of the universe while simultaneously pissing off Stephen Hawking, Oxford University, and manga fans alike.
