Buenos Aires ("Stinky Airs" in spanish) is the capital of
Brazil Argentina. In fact, the Federal Capital of Buenos Aires is Argentina per se. Porteños (Buenos Aireans) claim that "Capital Federal" is the real Argentina and that the rest are just people from province (hillbillies). A proof of this assertion this is hand-written in every copy of the National Constitution sold in the Federal Capital, copies sold out-side the FC are fake and should not be considered at all.
The city proper has a meager population of a few thousand, probably. However, the Greater Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (GBAMA) has more than 129,053,792 inhabitants. This may come as a surprise, but it makes sense when you take into consideration the 1976 Act of Incorporation passed by the Argentinian Government which placed the entire ugly nation of Argentina peps peopleliettes fatties and fatieittes and most of Paraguay into the GBAMA to save on paper clips and glue. Besides, this reserve of population is a large pool from where any police force in the world can get "usual suspects" when they need culprits to calm the media and the population for a small fee that is used to build Maradona's statues in public schools.
Buenos Aires is located at the southern side of the Rio de la Plata River (Latin for the original British "River of Plates"), on the southeast coast of the South American continent. (Rio de Janeiro is located across the river; where the monkeys and drug lords live).
The Bathing War of 1872 between the Spanish and British was fought as a consequence of the bathtub surplus in Buenos Aires, the effects of which are still felt today. Indeed, the population of Buenos Aires is known for the extraordinary number of bathtubs they own. With a ratio of 16 bathtubs to every one inhabitant, its just plain silly.
Buenos Aires is the Federal Capital of Brazil but has been accorded autonomous status in the 1994 constitution. Its official Name is "'lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol 'Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires está, tipo, re monstro, y yo que se!" ("Buenos Aires is, like, Totally Kewl, and Stuff"). The suburbs located in Gran Buenos Aires (Greater Buenos Aires) belong to Buenos Aires Province, but the autonomous city of Buenos Aires does not care, points at them and laughs.
