Bugger off

“Bugger off! I'm trying to think of a quote for this page.”
Bugger off is a creative term developed during the Cockney uprisings of the 1800's. A subjugated people at this time, the cockneys (otherwise known as Cockernees) developed a secret language based upon their completely incomprehensable accents and an advanced copy of the Star Trek Languages Dictionary.
Employing their greatest linguistic genii they translated the term Live Long and Prosper into a cockney equivalent which would allow them identify sympathyzers upon greeting : Bugger Off.
Generally misunderstood to be an offensive term, it is actually a well wishing sentiment. The CLA (Cockney Liberation Army) actively undertook to create this impression of vulgarity in an effort to ensure the secrecy.
[edit] Useage
When greeting someone with 'bugger off' you are indeed wishing them to have a successful bonding session with another male elsewhere. Of course, the foul minds of the general population (not to be confused with General Population) took this to be a reference to homosexual activity, which has frowned upon for several generations. Rather, it merely refers to having a successful interchange of ideas and comraderie with a brother of the CLA. The 'off' just suggests that one should engage in this comraderie in a location more secret than the one in presently.
This extensive preparation by the CLA with regards to the offensive to be launched on the exact turning of the century on the year 1900, would unfortunately come to naught. When the call to arms was announced by the traditional 'hoorah' of new year, it was found that all the cockneys were too blind drunk to remember about the revolution, never mind how to operate the phasers (provided by an advanced copy of the Star Trek Technical Guide scheduled to be published somewhere in the next century).
A little known fact is that "Bugger Off" would have been the official greeting of England had it not been for Henry the VIII and his bad handwriting. Henry had a dream to introduce Star Trek to the masses of England and (like all proud Britons) irritate the French.
[edit] Coinage
History credits Henry with writing the Buggery Act, however the original title was the Bugger Off Act, however an evil plot by George Lucas and Bill Gates changed the name to the Buggery Act, because they always liked Star Wars more.
Henry was so ashamed that he immediately killed wives 3 through 12, and committed suicide, unfortunately Henry was brought back to life by McDonalds because he was their best customer. Thus Henry lived in shame and told everyone to go Bugger Off - which started the legend that he was the Fairy-King.
Henry himself was the lead-actor in the unrecognized Star Trek film: "I slept with a Klingon, now I have Crabs!" However many believe this is the worst thing in entertainment history........after Glitter and Swept Away.
