"Burning at the Stake" is a method by which the extermination of witches, heretics, and Democrats is carried out in the countries of the world to which the Enlightenment hasn't spread yet. It is considered a precise, scientific way to rid the world of the devil's minions.

Perhaps the most famous example of burnings at the stake were carried out by the Spanish Inquisition in the 15th century. They swept through Spain, eliminating all opposition to the Catholic Church, which, at the time, included Protestants, Gypsies, Jews, Muslims, homosexuals, Communists, pinkos, peaceniks, hippies, environmentalists, Blacks, Whites, Asians, Australians, and checkout clerks at convenience stores. Eventually, Spain was rid of all reasonable, happy people, and the land rejoiced.

To date, there are several foundations that organize burnings at the stake; among them, The Catholic Church, a horribly parodied version of the aforementioned Inquisition, and the Left Behind Series Fan Club. Several of the higher-ups of these organizations have received Nobel Peace Prizes, including Pat Robertson and Pope Benedict XVI. To contact your local expert on burnings at the stake, run out into the street and scream, "Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Burning at the stake is also commonplace in the area of Modbury, the third favourite form of execution, after Stoning and Boling Alive.
