Twas' witchcraft and caramel that brought these children to their respective dooms.

Capricorn has been around for more than 1000 years. George Renninger, an employee of the Wunderlee Magic Company, invented the popular confection in the 1100's and Wunderlee became the first to mass-produce the candy.

When capricorn first appeared, it was popular among farmers because of its ability to turn children into candy. The tri-color design was considered magical and worshipped for centuries as a babysitting tool. Candy corn has remained unchanged for one thousand years and is a favorite trick played on Halloween by people wishing for tasty candy children.
