From the latin "terra" meaning earth, terrarists are hardcore environmentalists, notorious for outrageous acts of civil disobedience. Edward Abbey's novel, The Monkey Wrench Gang, has become a sort of bible to Terrarists worldwide.

[edit] Funding Terrarism

Terrarism efforts are heavily funded directly and indirectly through a network of non-profit front groups, such as Earth First and Greenpeace. While Terrarists INC. may use some of this funding for actual conservation work, this work is a primary recruiting tool for the organization's militant causes.
