Charles Richard Branson (1931-1998), American actor, most famous for his role as the revenge-minded "Joe Everyman" in the original and nine sequels to "Deathwisher," as well as the motorcycling loner in the groundbreaking television series, "Then Came Branson." No so well known is his classic theater work, in which he played such famous characters as Hamburger Hamlet, Willie Lowman, and 12 Ugly Men.

Branson was often described by critics and fans alike as "horribly ugly," and "frightening to look at." Branson himself said he was the spitting image of his dear, departed mother, who killed herself when he approached her breast to suckle. He was 35 at time.

Aside from his acting work, Branson started a used record store, which soon grew to a billion-dollar enterprise, diversifying in records, aerospace, ceramics, Mexican oil paintings, and jackalope mining.

In 1995, Branson attempted an around-the-world balloon flight, which ended when a large orangutan he was fighting accidentally set the balloon on fire. He surviev but land in the Amazon jungle where he was killd by a bunch of Little girls.
