Charlie Murphy, was born Charles Quentin Tyree Huffington Murphy - Brown to Lord and Lady Huffington Murphy - Brown in Huffington Hall, Cambridge, England in 1930.

Originally sent to Eton where he excelled in fencing as well as breaking and entering he was briefly evacuated to Harlem Nights, Brooklyn shortly after the outbreak of World War 2 (a wildly popular war prompting the prequel WW1 which had previously been known as international civil war 8).

Upon his return to England it became quite a scandal that during his time away the Earl and future Lord had become an african-american. The shock killed his mother whereas his father was stabbed by angry courtiers. This outrage caused his brother, Edward VIII to abdicate.

Lord Murphy - Brown as he was now titled renounced his hereditary seat in the House of Lords and left England forever, returning to Harlem Nights. On arrival Lord Murphy - Brown vanished and is believed to have used a number of pseudonyms in different areas, many of these are highly speculative and pieced together based on fragments of information. We do know that he was held in Cell Block 4 and we are led to believe that murder was the case. It was here that he met Malcolm Shabazzzzzzzz known as the X-man and Malcolm: Malcolm X a local agitator and malcolmtent, together they invented a form of skiffle music played without any instruments, this later became known as box-beating. Shortly after his release he contracted Jungle Fever and only survived due to his unconditional love for the Pompatus of Love. He may also have gone one on one with a vampire in brooklyn, this however is unsubstantiated as this is usually attributed to either Martin or Maureen Betterblues.

When Charles resurfaced it was as a unamusing white cartoon character who endlessly mused on the existential hell that is life and why people liked his white-supremacist dog. However this cartoon was very unpopular and was cancelled after just 20000000 strips. Charles dropped the "Brown" part of his name shortly after he fathered Melanin Brown out of wedlock. Melanin Brown would go on to become a Mr. T impersonator in a number of off-colour A-Team jokes, she would also become his sister-in-law and mother-in-law briefly.
[edit] Feud with Richard James
During a low point for the Murphy family in the early 80s Charlie had been forced to borrow a significant sum from Richard James loan-shark who had threatened to "Eat his soul". This began a long-running feud between the two resulting in James recording a 14 hour concept album which repeated the words "Charlie Blurfy" over and over. In response this 'diz' Charlie Murphy had sex with Richard James's mother resulting in her giving birth to another son, also named Richard James. A number of violent spats ensued.
