Colorado Springs
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Colorado Springs is a well-populated city, which mainly consists only of suburban neighborhoods, extra-large roadways, and Super Wal Marts that are open 24 hours. It has historically been located in Colorado. Yet, on January 2nd, 1998, the city has won its independence as was designated the capital of Jesusland. Colorado Springs has several sister cities, including Jerusalem, Mecca, Rome, and Mount Fuji. A popular tourist attraction is a mountain named Pike's Peak; Pikes Peak is so big, it practically can be seen from any point within city limits... Or, more importantly, to rephrase: anyone in Colorado Springs can be seen from the top of Pike's Peak. That is why the headquarters of the Jesusland National Law Enforcement have found their perfect location at this spot. This has proven to be very effective; Colorado Springs has the lowest rates of masturbation and homosexual activities, which are both illegal within city limits. A strong presence of military personnel has also strongly contributed to the good morals of the city's population.
[edit] Secret Plan to Take Over Colorado
Recently it has been discovered that the government of Colorado Springs has plotted to infiltrate the rest of the state of Colorado by gradually expanding into all directions, especially the north. As more and more neighborhoods pop out of nowhere, Colorado Springsians are hoping that soon there will no un-urbanized gap between the cities of Denver and Colorado Springs. Then, so they hope, the general population will become confused upon the sudden suburbanizations of previously deserted countrysides. Upon this confusion, Colorado Springsians are planning to eradicate all pre-existing maps of the state of Colorado in order to replace the name of "Colorado" with "Colorado Springs", with the capital being "Colorado Springs" (as historically intended). Thereafter, people will have to call Colorado Springs "Colorado Springs City" to avoid confusion with the name of the entire state... kinda like New York or Washington.
