Curse

A curse is a cheery greeting, often given by one good fellow to another. All chaps like to hear a pleasant curse as they set off to work in the mornings. In the old days, my grandmother would curse me about the house before breakfast, and how it would make me laugh and giggle.

Some common curses include:

• "Hey nonny nonny!"
• "Eh ba gum!"
• "By jove, you are a frightfully proper chap today!"
• "Avast, me hearties!"
• "Begorrah!"
• "Gosh! I do look forward to the picnic!"
• "My, oh my... what fruitfull loins you have!"
