This page is about Disambiguation the band. For other meanings of disambiguation, see Disambiguation (disambiguation).

Disambiguation is an American rock band formed in the South-Southwestern section of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at some time between 1985 and 1997. They are known for their unusually wide variety of music and have recorded three highly-successful albums, largely depending on just what your definition of "highly-successful" is.

They claim to have been inspired by the Beatles (John, Paul, George and Ringo; not a group of insects), Cream (Eric Clapton; not a fatty dairy product), and Styx (the Mr. Roboto guys; not the river, and certainly not dead twigs).
