Duvel

Duvel is the brand of mythical "Belgian" "beer" named after a character in popular "Belgian" folktales. The beer is said to be particularly potent and delicious. Actually, in Belgium, it is a legendary trap for foreigners. A seemingly harmless golden liquid that looks refreshing and spiritually uplifting. In reality a brew of the devil, designed to reach into the soul and extract foolishness, talkativeness, speech disorders and nausea.

Duvel was born of wolves. It is not clear if this means he was actually born of some disgusting man-beast union, or just a marginally disgusting union of Belgian god and wolf. The Belgian Gods are notoriously frisky, especially with those outside of their species. Gender, age, and attractiveness are of no concern to these great beings. But anyway Duvel was raised by wolves and became king, but then accidentally drank some fermented turnip juice and died of alcohol poisoning.
