[edit] Early life

Dan was born in Queens, New York to Patrick and Mia Stamp, he spent the first 20 years of life living as an ordinary guy, that changed shortly after his 20th birthday however, when he purchased a pair of Boxing gloves that once belonged to the legendary Rocky Balboa. Dan returned the gloves shortly after making the purchase, as the gloves seemed to create a strong burning sensation in his right hand. Dan was not aware of it at the time, but he had in fact received Superpowers, more specifically, incredible strength in his right hand. It was not until 2 months later, following the murder of his close friend Steve that Dan became aware of his powers, upon hearing of his friends death, Dan went for a walk to clear his head and in his rage punched the wall of an abandoned apartment building that he was passing. It collapsed moments later. Upon becoming aware of his Superpowers, Dan brought Steve's killer to justice and from that point on.......decided to use his powers to fight crime.

[edit] Solo Superhero Career

Fist Of Doom first became known to the public on June 6, 1946, when he battled his first enemy, Soviet Hardliner, General Ivan Sprasyarnovich. Sprasyarnovich intended to cripple the American economy by replacing all of the US's money with worthless counterfeit. Fist Of Doom successfully foiled his evil scheme and handed him over to the CIA. Following this incident, Fist Of Doom became almost as famous as Spider-Man.

Over time, Fist Of Doom fought and gained many more enemies, most notable being, Mr. Bizarre/Random, The Gray Falcon, Sexy Goth Chick, Keiji Hangshru and Ivan Sprasyarnovich. He also battled other notable villains such as Doctor Doom (whom would later become a partner in crime), The Kingpin, Magneto, Hydroman, Lex Luthor, the Red Skull (another man whom would later become a partner in crime), and many more.

Keiji Hangshru: One of Fist Of Doom's greatest enemies
One day he stumbled upon a plot to sell weapons to one of the sides of a Civil War in Kasnia. As Fist Of Doom tracked the culprits, he eventually found himself in Gotham City. During his time here he met and became good friends with Batman.

[edit] Meeting the "Dark Night"

While following the trail of the arms dealers mentioned in the above paragraph, Fist Of Doom found himself in Gotham City, to be more precise, the warehouse district, outside warehouse 23. Just as Fist Of Doom was about to make his grand entrance....the "Dark Knight" Batman appeared, at first Batman told Doom to get lost, but after Doom explained that he had been tracking the arms dealers for 6 weeks, Batman decided that it was only fair that they took the arms dealers down together. Upon entering the warehouse, the group were ambushed by thugs, after making quick work of them, the masterminds of the operation made themselves known, Keiji Hangshru and Rupert Thorne (One of Batman's enemies).

The 4 engage in brief banter before a grand battle ensues. Keiji continually attacks Fist Of Doom with his Katana, however Doom skilfully avoids all of his attacks...he then shatters the Katana by punching it with his empowered fist. Keiji proceeds to pull out a gun, however Fist Of Doom roundhouse kicks the gun out of his hand and it lands in the corner of the warehouse. Keiji then attempts to flee, however, Fist Of Doom throws a crate at Keiji, knocking him unconscious. Moments later Batman knocks out Thorne, Fist Of Doom and Batman leave the scene moments before the GCPD arrive on the scene to apprehend Keiji, Thorne, and their thugs.

Batman and Fist Of Doom slowly became very good friends, after Batman confessed to Doom that he suffered from a constant state of loneliness based depression. Fist Of Doom realised that he could only do one thing to help his good friend....he needed to help him find a sidekick.

[edit] The creation of the "Dynamic Duo"

Batman and Fist Of Doom searched, high and low for a a suitable sidekick for Batman, they went to every Superhero they knew, from the Hulk going as far as asking Captain America, but none of them wanted to be Batman's sidekick. The pair were just about to give up, when Fist Of Doom bumped into a highly skilled circus performer named Dick Grayson. Doom asked Grayson if he wanted to Batman's sidekick, Grayson refused but Doom had a plan. He secretly hired Gotham Mob Boss, Tony Zucco and his brothers to kill Grayson's parents, 3 weeks after the funeral, Fist Of Doom returned to Grayson with his offer of being Batman's sidekick, saying that if he did join; he and Batman could bring Zucco and his brothers to justice and avenge the death of his Mother and Father. Grayson accepted the offer and became Robin, hence the "Dynamic Duo" was born. Shortly after the Dynamic Duo was established, Batman invited Fist Of Doom to join the Justice League of America (JLA, more commonly known as simply the "Justice League"), he accepted the invitation and hence became a member.

[edit] Relationship with Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman: Fist Of Doom's lover from 1951-1953

After foiling a plot conceived through an alliance between the Red Skull and Darkseid, Fist Of Doom told Wonder Woman that he had developed feelings for her and that he loved her, Wonder Woman confessed that she felt the same way about him and thus they began a relationship; much to Superman's distaste.

[edit] The Justice League led Coup in the Soviet Union (1953)

Though unconfirmed, it is rumoured that Fist Of Doom played a central role in the Justice League led Coup in the Soviet Union.

[edit] The JLA's scapegoat/Dismissal from the JLA/Fall from grace

Following the failure of the JLA's coup in the Soviet Union, public opinion began to turn against it. Superman and the JLA, deciding that they wanted to be "Good Guys" again, decided to use Fist Of Doom as a scapegoat for the entire Coup operation. 2 hours after Superman presented the U.N. with "evidence" that showed that Fist Of Doom had deceived and manipulated the JLA into staging the Coup, Superman dismissed Fist Of Doom from the JLA.

As Fist Of Doom left JLA HQ he swore that Superman would regret his decision and pay for casting him out of the League and also gave him an atomic wedgie. As he was about to walk out of the front door, Wonder Woman caught up with him, told him that she loved him, and was pregnant with his daughter. Fist Of Doom gave Wonder Woman one final kiss before walking out of the door.

Following his dismissal from the JLA Fist Of Doom went underground (as in into hiding, not the literal sense), he would not be heard from again until 1979.

[edit] Re-emergence as a Supervillain (1979)

In 1979, the JLA received a distress call from a St. Jonathan cruise ship that they were being robbed by a Supervillain. The JLA arrived on the scene and confronted the villain, none of them had any idea who it was, until he punched a large hole in the deck with his "Fist Of Doom" (Which is of course also his namesake). The Justice League engaged Fist Of Doom in a gruelling battle, but in the end they were victorious. However, Fist Of Doom was able to escape.

Over the next few years Fist Of Doom and the JLA were to meet many times, with victories for both sides over the course of their many battles. Over time though, Fist Of Doom realised that he would not be able to take down the JLA on his own; thus he began to make amens with many of his former villain enemies, most notably, Keiji Hangshru. His grandest step in terms of making allies did not come until the establishment of the "Brotherhood of Doom" in 1998.

[edit] The Brotherhood of Doom

The Brotherhood of Doom is a small, yet powerful organisation of villains established by Fist of Doom, it has been responsible for many acts of evil since it's creation. It's most recent and most sinister act however, was the hijacking of China.

[edit] The hijacking of China

On April 5, 2007, The Brotherhood of Doom acquired a giant engine from God knows where and attached it to the "back" of China. After the engine was activated, China began to move, The Brotherhood of Doom announced they would crash China into Africa unless 45 trillion dollars was deposited into a bank account under their control. A small team of heroes from the JLA, led by newcomer Scarlet Lighting, was dispatched to deal with the threat.

Upon arriving at the engine, the JLA team were ambushed by The Brotherhood of Doom. Scarlet Lighting rushed head-on into a fight with Fist Of Doom, amidst the battle between them, Fist Of Doom realised that Scarlet Lighting used a very similar fighting technique to Wonder Woman..but more importantly..she had Wonder Woman's eyes. After realising who exactly Scarlet Lighting was, Fist Of Doom told her that he was her Father, not believing a word of it at first, Scarlet Lighting contacted Wonder Woman, her Mother, to ask her if it were true. Wonder Woman reluctantly confirmed to her daughter that what Fist Of Doom had told her was true.....he was her Father. Overcome with a mixture of emotions, though largely a feeling that her Father had betrayed the Good he once stood for, Scarlet Lighting somehow summoned up Superhuman strength on par with Superman, grabbed her father and threw him into the giant engine...seemingly ripping him to pieces.

In spite of Fist of Doom's "death", the Red Skull and Doctor Doom still had every intention of putting up a fight to see their plan through to the end. During the chaos of the fight between the Red Skull, Doctor Doom and Scarlet Lighting and her team of heroes, Keiji Hangshru used his Katana, to slice the control system of the engine in 2, shutting it down and thus saving all of China. Both the JLA members present and Keiji's comrades ceased fighting and stared at him with looks of confusion on their faces, Keiji began to laugh, as the laugh became more menacing, the Japanese accent disappeared and was replaced by an American one. Keiji then reveals his true identity, the infamous assassin Bill Cochran. He bid both the JLA and the fools (His 2 former allies) "Farewell", and jumped off of the cliff on which the group were standing. Batman swiftly began to make his way over to the cliff edge, but before he could get there, the sound of an updraft from a helicopter's rotor blades filled the air. The helicopter came level with the cliff edge and Batman's theory was confirmed, there was Bill, standing on the landing gear. He gave Batman a final wave and sinister laugh before properly getting into the helicopter and making his escape.

[edit] Fist Of Doom survived the "China incident"

As impossible as it may seem, Fist Of Doom was able to survive being thrown into the giant engine in China. He made his survival known when 6 months later, when he and a group of thugs attempted to steal vast amounts of weapons-grade plutonium. This plan was foiled by Spider-Man and Iron Man, though Fist Of Doom was once again defeated and went underground. It has now been 3 years since this Madman last reared his head, it is already obvious that it will not be the last the JLA hear of him....the only question is where and when will he strike again.
