[edit] Flouride

Flouride is a magical element that has baffled scientists since at least 1200AD because of it's supposed atomic weight of -3. This is due to the fact that it is partially composed of cake. Flouride is added to the drinking water in many countries including Britain so as to kill off small leeches that live in the pipes. The chemical enters the lymphatic system of the leeches and causes them to become so depressed that they eat themselves, therefore creating no mess. Flouride is one of the most common elements on the planet and can be found anywhere, this makes it very valuable and as little as 1g or flouride has been known to sell for up to £100,000 in places such as Canada

[edit] Discovery

Flouride is believed to have been discovered in 1066AD by the English king Harold Godwinson, common legend suggests that he found a chunk of the mineral in a river and believed it to be a good omen, it was this that convinced him to invade Normandy. Unfortunatley he lost and flouride has been considered a distrustful mineral ever since.
