God is Gay is a minor religious movement that swept the Chinese Republic of America during World War III. It is believed that it drew inspiration from the God is a Girl movement.

The God is Gay movement was started by a group of Homosexual people. They reasoned that, if God could be made into a girl, why couldn't He be made into a effeminate sexy gay hunk as well? After praying for seven years (while simultaneously laying siege to the stronghold of Sauron), they finally managed to get God's attention.

Given His bad experience with the God is a Girl movement, God was understandably reluctant to comply with the homosexual's request. When the gays threatened to take the matter to a higher authority, however, God took matters into his own hands. Soon, the group of homosexuals found themselves transformed into little girls.
