Goldasaurus

Goldasaurus is a misjudged dinosaur name from pieces of gold found and dug up. There had been no evidence at what time period (Triassic, Jurassic or Cretaceous) it lives in, there's also no evidence of how big it is, though some dino nerds say that it's a small creature, and more importantly, what it looked like.

What it eats had been without any idea with no proper skull dug and examined by paleontologists. There has been newer dinosaurs discovered but the discovery of Goldasaurus is way out of league. Even with dino experts.

[edit] Finds

The earliest discovery of Goldasaurus is at Victoria, Australia in 2003 by some anonymous gold diggers. What they found so far are some scatters of bones, all gold and they dubbed the species Goldasaurus because of its bones made from gold.

  • What the gold diggers have uncovered are the skull, thyroid bone, pelvis and tail bone and other bones
  • From the bones unearthed, some dino experts suggest that Goldasaurus is no big dinosaur that's a size of a dog
  • The approximate weight of Goldasaurus is about 20 kg
  • There had been recent debates whether Goldasaurus is a real dinosaur
  • The gold diggers who discovered this species are no paleontologists

[edit] Interesting facts

On the day Goldasaurus was discovered, some gold diggers were sent out in search for a new gold site. They started work on the site digging away bits of rock and they found nothing. Some of the gold found so far are tiny sprinke sized gold but they provide too little use. But then, hard luck came as rains poured down on the dig site so it had to be halted until the next day. On the next day, the rains have gone and the digsite had become muddy. The gold diggers showelled out the muddy residue and it wasn't long that they strike gold. And it's not just a gold nugget but there's a group of them ironically stacked like a skeleton. The diggers couldn't believe their eyes on what they've found.

The gold fragments are on display at the gold museum codenamed Goldasaurus.

[edit] Controversies

Goldasaurus, assumed by dino experts and paleontologists say that the fossil remains are not a dinosaur. They're just pieces of gold that resemble what is called a hoax. Debates had been circulating through this case on whether Goldasaurus is a real dinosaur or not and it's under jeopardy.

At least with the discovery of another dinosaur Kakuru (rainbow serpent), Goldasaurus isn't alone as it's fossil remains are just gold but unlike this dinosaur, Kakuru's remains are bone shaped opals or just bones that have been opalized.
