Howard Zinn

Howard Zinn is an American historian, author of the book The People's History of the United States, which, like the Bible, everyone buys but nobody reads. The book is about the evils of capitalism, and has sold over one million copies at $34.95 a pop, plus tax.

Zinn also wrote a lot about civil rights for blacks. Now very old, he lives in an all-white private community near Boston.
