Jeffrey Sebelia

Jeffrey Sebelia (Born Juan Garcia on May 3, 1970) is most notably a rising Gemini, also known for winning the coveted "Big Ball o' Yarn" prize on Season 3 of Bravo TV's notoriously gay reality show Project Runway.
[edit] Life
In the late 1990s, Sebelia formed Christian grunge band "Spirit Lifter" with solo artists Pat Smear and Oscar Wilde. After a painful, unsuccessful two months of experimentation, front man Oscar Wilde decided that it was time to cut Jeffrey from the band.
Depressed and alone, he began a downward spiral into a life of drug addiction with whip-its and recreational ginseng use. Hitting rock bottom after the disappointment that followed Dokken's Hitting Rock Bottom tour in 2001, Jeffrey resolved to take his own life: "I was literally moments away from death... As I hoisted myself up to the noose, I took a clear look at my life, then the half-inch thick manila hemp rope that hung in front of me, frayed at parts, and thought 'Boy, I could clean the fuck out of those frays and maybe add on some studs and shit... no wait... I'll let those frayed edges stay like that. That'd be all punk and shit.' That was the turning point in my life."
[edit] Project Runway
In the spring of 2006, Sebelia auditioned for the Bravo series Project Runway after realizing that there was a thriving industry dedicated to providing coverings for the torso and limbs as well as coverings for the hands, feet, and head. He was instantly known on the show as "The Great Gatsby", mainly for his well-to-do charm and the parties hosted at his West Egg mansion.
As one of the final four contestants, Sebelia presented a full collection at Olympus Fashion Week. But just two days before the runway show, Sebelia was investigated for charges brought against him by mandatory reality show bitch Laura Bennett. When asked about his garment's flawless finish, Jeffrey responded "Damn right it looks good, this is Bryant Park. I've been peeing in empty mayonnaise jars for the last three fucking months to get here. They're lined up in four consecutive rows of twenty, organized chronologically along the walls of my LA fucking sweatshop, bitch." On-air mentor and Mandatory Bravo TV flamboyaunt extraordinaire Tim Gunn had his sources verify that the jars which he mentioned were accounted for and let Sebelia show his collection.
Heiled by supermodel and host Heidi Klum as "The Final Solution" to the fashion industry, he was picked as winner of Season 3. His winnings included $100,000 to develop his own clothing line, a 2007 Saturn Sky Roadster, a year's representation by Designer's Management Agency, and a 15-month subscription to ELLE magazine.
