Klutz is a tiny village south-east of Bonn in Germany. Due to impurities in the local water supply, all inhabitants are afflicted with bouts of clumsiness.

Interestingly, the word Klutz does not derive from observations of the behaviour of the inhabitants of Klutz, but in fact is named after Charles Klutz, a journalist for the New York Times who once dropped a paperweight.
