A Lunarcycle

A lunarcycle is kind of like a bicycle but different. Actually, its better compared to a unicycle. Except without a seat, or pedals. And instead of a wheel theres a giant glowing orb. Well not glowing but reflecting light from another source. And throughout the month it changes, getting pieces cut off and added in, so sometimes it doesn't even look like a circle. But it always is one, it just doesn't look it, because of how light bounces off of it. It's really confusing. Sometimes an Almanac can help, but they are hard to find in the wild, and even harder to catch.

This kind of confusion caused the Norse to create a rather absurd moon myth about a one-eyed wolf, detailed in the epic poem Recyclopedia. They believed that one story about a wolf was easier to remember all that stuff about the actual workings of the lunar cycle and reflected light. This is probably why the Norse were wiped out in the Spanish-American War.
