Napkins
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Created in 1432, napkins were created when somebody decided that there were too few rules of politeness at the dinner table. The philosophy behind napkins is as yet unknown, although scholars have studied their origins for centuries (since 1432.3 A.C. to be precise). Fortunatley, the purpose of napkins was discovered in 968 by the famed seer Elvis Presley.
A napkin is made for the sole purpose of smearing food on your face onto perfectly good material that could otherwise be used to house innocent howler monkeys. In spite of the fact that washing or licking food off of one's face takes far less time and money than making (or washing) napkins, they are still somehow looked upon as a pretty neat idea.
