New Edmontonshire

New Edmontonshire is a fictional British city. References to New Edmontonshire are used to indicate any possible city that none of the rest of us give a flying rats ass about. Oftentimes the VFD discussion of said article would go something like this:
- Hey everyone, I say we delete Austin. It's a total New Edmontonshire tWix 15:40, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- Agree to Delete. This article is utter garbage. Maul, then Torture, and then Maul again. TameFerret: 18:15, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

A large number of users attempt to write articles about obscure small towns, often in the British countryside. Sometimes the towns will be located in Vermont, or Texas. The actual location does not actually matter. Articles falling under the classification of "Another New Edmontonshire" have the following qualities:
- Nobody has heard of this town.
- Nobody cares about this town.
- The author is an exception to rule #1 and #2.
- We probably do not care about the author, or the town they are from.
- New Edmontonshire is smaller than Sturgis, South Dakota, and does not have a biker rally, rendering it completely useless, and unnoteworthy.
[edit] Dealing with New Edmontonshire
The Nerv procedure is the primary reccomendation in dealing with all articles fitting the New Edmontonshire idea. In the case of select articles of higher quality, the VFD community should be utilized.
Upon rare occasions, a New Edmontonshire article may be found that exemplifies good writing, a suitably ludicrous topic, and enough fictional or real details of requisite hilarity that the article can be kept. Although the author of this article has yet to find any examples fitting this category, it is his hope that someday there shall be.
