Most of the illegal file-sharing done involves copied books, as most college students are well read, have ample amounts of time on their hands, and are immune to carpal tunnel syndrome. The PIAA followed in the footsteps and ass-prints of the RIAA and MPAA in attacking illegal downloaders. The plight of poor publishing companies is well stated by Inigo C. Aporn, an industry statesman: "Libraries should be shut down. Anyone can get a book from their local library, type it up, and put it on an illegal file sharing network. It's a travesty of justice!"

The printing industry has recently suffered crippling sales loss, as everyone is eager to download a free book, read it on a computer monitor, and burn their eyes out. No one prints things anymore.
