[edit] Early History

The first physiologist was Pharaoh Ramses Tutankhamen Andersen III. In 1636, he discovered the human body, leading to the creation of anatomy, and later on, medicine. He described his findings in the classic medical text, The Body: How I Found It. His son, Baron P.R.T. Andersen IV, made a few more finds, but is generally best known for being his father's son. And making moldless cheese.

In the late 17th century, there was a burst of creativity in the physiological community. Such notable physiologists as Prof. Joe McCarthy and Earl Mackish von Hackisham came up with fanciful body parts like the lungtube, stomach-brain, and liverpool. The peak of this era was when Queen Victoria invented the kidney. This allowed her to invent the kidney pie and kidney bean.

[edit] The Golden Age of Physiology

In 1724, the greatest physiologist of all time, Leonardo Da Vinci, was born. He discovered most of the internal organs we know and love today, including the intestines, esophagus, heart, and brain. Unfortunately, he did not learn of the existence of the foot until many years later, leading to many misunderstandings. Other great physiologists of the time included King Vincent of Shammingham, who documented the various sharpnesses of the various teeth. He died while trying to chronicle the teeth of an elephantolion.

[edit] The Gradual Collapse

Physiology began to decline in the late 1880s, when many of the alleged human body parts, such as the cardiophlegm and the brachycephaloglaben, were found to be the products of opium highs. With the death of Fenwich, Lord Hampton on December 35, 1889, physiology was discarded by the academia. In 1933, journals were uncovered which caused physiology to be filed away as pseudoscience. Things became worse during the turn of the century as a small physiology lab at the university of british columbia was found to produce large amounts of WMDs for Kim Jong-Il. As such, the study of physiology has now been outlawed across the non-axis of evil.
