Real men don't wear quiche

~ Noel Coward on Quiche

Made from the gall bladders of wee Scottish snails, Quiche is a much loved delicacy among the Ruling Elite of the British Isles, and their pigs. March the 42nd marks the beginning of the Snail Season, known as the "Wonderful 42nd", were mainly Middle Class gentlefolk rush about the countryside hitting things upside the head with planks of 2 by 2 (historically of maplewood). They are given the nickname "quichers".

[edit] Political Posturing

During the 2002 General Erection both leaders of the two main parties stated their opposition to Quiching, hoping to game the vote of the Anti Quiching Lobby. A primary hearing in the Wigan Court of Human rights showed in favour of the Quiching Brigade, causing a pause to any action to ban the activity.

As of yet no side has been able to claim victory and Quiching continues.

[edit] Quiching Courses

Although most courses are located in Scotland, a number of areas exist both in England and Wales where Quiching is popular. These include -

  • Reading
  • Edinburgh
  • Las Vegas
  • Most of Yorkshire, excluding the South Downs
  • Wimbledon
  • Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, Anglesey
  • Red Deer, Saudi Alberta, Canada
