[edit] Early Life
Raymond Raphael Ramano was born an illegal jewish immegrant to Leslie Nielson and Foghorn Leghorn. He spent his days walking on all fours until the age of 16, where Fred Thompson taught him how to drive a stick. once he discovered Cheech and Chong were doing roadshows, he hoped on their wagon all across the U.S.A. The fumes from the wagon however rendered his mental state and he began talking like a aardvark from Brooklyn. It was Joe Peschi who discovered his talent and quickly booked him for shows all across town.
[edit] Stand Up
Ramond toured with the Bee Gees and Bruce Spingsteen through most of the 70's and 80's while getting mostly negative reactions. He was cast as Montel Ravinski for the movie "Jamin' in Jamaica Mahn", also starring Eddie Murphy and a very young Jennifer Lopez which also got negative reviews. He almost called it quits until he ran into comedic legend Pauley Shore who told him to do a series of comedy films with him and Steven Baldwin. The three made their first film "Hey Dude" in 1988, with "BioSphere" in 1992, and the last of the trilogy, "Dip Shots!" in 98'. After this Pauley and Steven went on to bigger roles, leaving Ramano doing commercials for Carls Jr. and Red Dog Beer for the remainder of the 90's.
[edit] "Everybody Tolerates Raymond"
It was around late 1999 when CBS was looking for a show to go head to head with ABC's Georgio Lopez in the prime time slot on Thursdays on it's TGITBINFTY or "Thank God its Thursday, but its not Friday yet". Cast as him self Ray had to wed someone quickly and adopt a kid by the deadline. He ended up marrying JLo's half sister and had adopted son Philipé just minutes before their first shoot. For his parents they brought in Ben Stiller's parents for the pilot. But this caused a problem with the script as it ment that Ben Stiller would also have to be added as well as its in his contract that he must work with his parents in everything he does. So the pilot was shot with Ben Stiller included, but the series would dump the Stillers in favor of american parents Estelle Getty and Mickey Rooney. The viewers at home agreed that Raymond's show had gotten alot better with having parents that were not even latin or from Mexico. The show also saw a brother for Raymond in famous latino wrestler Eddie Guerrero. Throughout the next 6 seasons the two would argue alot and often start wrestling. One such occasion saw Eddie "Frog Splash" Raymond from the top of his fridgerator. This led to an injury for Raymond that saw him out for 2 months. Eddie would star during this time, but would have to leave the show occasionally to do his work for WWWF SmackUpi Just Bring it! and was replaced by his cousin Chavo Guerrero, whom had to wear a wig and talk through a voice box for his parts. In the shows last season, they saw many special appearances by Cheech and Chong, Vince McMahon, and Enrique Englacious. The show led to a spinoff for reacurring character Christopher Rock entitled "Everybody Hates You Nigga" that was quickly pulled from CBS and moved to BET.
[edit] Iced Age
