Sherrod DeGrippo is the male founder of Encyclopædia Dramatica.
DeGrippo is a "Senior Intrusion Analysis Specialist" for Raytheon. He lived and/or worked 6.3 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta, Georgia, (phone area code 404) and was at Central Gwinnett High School, which is one of the Gwinnett County Public Schools, and there he got a Latin-language scholarship for the National Junior Classical League, where he was a "consul". He also was at the Yellow Jackets' university, but lives 11.1 miles west of downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, (specifically, according to WhitePages.com, at 1705 King James St,
Las Vegas, NV 89144, ph. (702) 267-9393) where he works for Raytheon, who have a contract with the Information Assurance Response Center of the National Nuclear Security Administration of the United States Department of Energy. Since he graduated high school in 1996, he's about 27, which fits the Wikipedia demographic (most are 20 to 30 years of age and male/transgendered/furry). Since he had a Latin scholarship, that explains why he called his wiki "Encyclopaedia Dramatica", which means nothing but "dramatic encyclopedia" in Latin. He also helped create a Linux Users Group at Georgia Tech (http://www.lugatgt.org), and he is a "Senior Intrusion Analysis Specialist". His second nickname, encydra, stands for encyclopaedia dramatica. A user by the nickname of "ohmygodess" on the board SwishTalk.com alleges that DeGrippo and one or more "friends" of him harrassed "ohmygoodness".
DeGrippo is well known for threatening vexatious litigation.
