The Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC is a giant portal to the alien planet of Mars, where there were once beings billions of years more advanced than us. This massive hideous building allowed us to understand everything about the universe until circa 1994, when Wikipedia took over and copyrighted all information in the known universe.

Artist rendition of George Washington and Ben Franklin finding the giant face, as well as the ancient civilization on Mars.

[edit] History

Founder and architect George Washington built the Smithsonian Institution in 1775. One year before The United States of America became a communist regime. With a little help from his gay lover Benjamin Franklin, they invented a giant particle accelerator in the basement of the building hidden behind some T-Rex bones. This created a giant black hole in which Ben and George got sucked in and found themselves learning from an advanced civilization on the face of Mars. Burning all of this information onto a floppy disk, they found themselves back in the ugly building in Washington a billion years smarter and a little less gayer.

With this information George Washington gave the information to Thomas Jefferson to write the United States Constitution, and Benjamin Franklin went on to invent bifocals.

Undoubtidly Thomas Jefferson stole George Washington's idea and claimed he was the one to establish the Institute.

[edit] Future

The Smithsonian Institution plans on closing down in the year 2030, and giving most of it's possessions not stolen by Wikipedia to Paris Hilton, who wants to create a private collection in her basement.
