Pictures of planks

Sockey is a sport played using a sock, an orange, and a wood plank. Play takes place in sequence, where the first person yells out a Taylor Polynomial Series formula, and the next person names the next polynomial in the sequence. If someone names the wrong polynomial, they take the wood plank and beat him to death with it. The winner of the game, normally the only survivor, gets to eat the orange. The sock is no longer used, but stays in the game for historical reasons.

The game used to be very popular, but in recent times has lost much of its popularity due to over-merchandising and poor licensing decisions. The most recent version of this game debuted under the title Pokemon. It bears little resemblance to the previous incarnation, Armed, Armed Revolution.
