“Stupid Pointless Effort at Establishing a Dumb Acronym.”
~ Shawn Hargreaves on speed
Speed is an addictive hallucinogenous drug. It is well known for its users being able to see things at multiple perspectives at the same time, although only in black-and-white, filtered with a solid colour per view.
[edit] History
The first batch of speed was originally brewed by Shawn Hargreaves in 1999, in a 72-hour cooking competition. At the end of the competition, the competition organiser, Aaron Shutt, forgot that people were wanting to judge the food, so he got everyone to try a bite from each. Due to everyone getting excessively high, Shawn won the competition. In 2000, to celebrate the New Millenium, Matthew Leverton realised, that, when added to his java, it dissolved, yet remained just as addictive, although had added caffiene. By doing this, it became edible for people who were unable to swallow.
Speed has been proved to be very addicting and once someone has taken it they have cravings that are hard to get rid of. It's what you call, "The Need For Speed"!
