Small Origins of an Adam Carolla Humourous Article[edit]

Hi there. Telongone001 is the (somewhat) original author of this page. Most of the information on here is public record (I'm trying to avoid libel because this has been mentioned to me by some) meaning that Adam Carolla has talked about all these topics embedded in the article, broadcast on his Loveline TV and radio shows, his current radio show, and other shows on which he has appeared in the United States. Most of his more well-known work is in radio, through KROQ-FM and KLSX-FM, CBS Radio stations in the States. He is also heard on podcasts through his 97.1 Free FM Station in Los Angeles that has its own website and podcasts for his most recent performances. Most of his controversies with other radio stars have been frequently discussed on-air by Carolla and his crew during his radio talk show. If anybody has any suggestions for the article, I would gladly appreciate the help. Thank you.

This article is also up for review in the Pee Review room. --teflongone001 08:21, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Teflongone001

User:Smuggler has requested to have this article huffed[edit]

I was given this message recently on my User page:

"Please read the following link when you get a chance"

http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/HTBFANJS

And please consider either removing your article or making it have more in the ways of humor than an opinion.

Thank You.

Smuggler.

They have also left another message saying that the Adam Carolla article was unprofessional and slanderous.

At their request, I will take this article down now. I will make notes to QVFD regarding the matter.

I have also left this message on Smuggler's talk page:

"At your request, I will be taking down the Adam Carolla article right now. I am sorry that I have offended you, and I hope you will accept my apology. My writing as of late has been getting well-deserved criticism, and have angered many who are better-equipped and have more experience in writing than I have. I assume that you are a professional writer, since your articles are much more better written than mine."

"I have read your UnNews article, and it is a very well written one. Again, I apologize for being offensive and inconsiderate. I will also leave a message in the the Sandbox and other places for the request to take the Adam Carolla page down."

I will be leaving up the Adam Carolla page at the Pee Review to see if it gets any hits; he also suggests to keep the page up.

Final Score: 30.8 overall, this is not an article that merits deletion. we have many, many article on uncyclopedia that are way, way, way more offensive. however, it does need some work. the preview button tells me that my/your score is around 30, barealy reaching the 'nearly adequate' section on the spectrum. this is mainly due to the excellent formatting, meaning that the rest of your article needs work. i suggest the following: first, read HTBFANJS. over and over. the best writers on the site read it at least once a week. i then recommend thinking of a celebrity that you do like, then rewriting this article in the tone that you would have when describing that celebrity. if your tone makes it seem like you're praising carolla, but your words put him down, then that's parody. i also suggest reading some featured articles, and finding some that user the same technique (such as Royal Pointless Military Things Tournament, which glorifies the competition yet illustrates its absurdity.) i suggest the same thing with your other articles, which seem to be written in a similar vein (i hate this person they are dumb). in my experience, the approach of 'this person is awesome, if you ignore (bad qualities), and excuse him for (ridiculous actions), and attribute him saying (stupid quote) to his (distraction. for this one i recommend something i just thought of: the dentist! you say carolla has big teeth; claim that he needs to visit the dentist every three days instead of every six months like a normal person. that would certainly explain why he's so grouchy all the time). overall, your article is borderline worthy, but with some improvments i feel as though it could become a solid addition to our hallowed halls. as always, if you need anything at all, you can reach me on the Gerryphone. don't be shy! good luck!

I just received your review, and it's very good. Although it will probably take a while for me to get used to writing properly and with consistency, I have tried my best with it. I'm going to leave it as a rewrite in case anyone wants to add pictures or text to anything on it. And thank you again for the review; it was very helpful. --teflongone001 16:46, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Teflongone001

This Article is Up For Rewriting[edit]

I will leave this article to be rewritten. I feel that someone with more experience will be able to write a more coherent, funny version. If anybody wants the article huffed, you can contact the moderators. I am fine either way with the article. Good luck. --teflongone001 05:17, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Teflongone001

I gave it a shot. Previously it was pretty much true. I made him a religious man who loves his family. I wasn't sure what to do with the last Hawaii-related paragraph, so I left it alone. --Snafu 18:39, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
