I have 3 difficulties with this piece.

1. It is chock full o' memes. Chuck Norris, Mr. T, Xenu, the Beginning of Time, Your Mom, God. Give it a goddamn rest. None of that makes anything funny.

2. It is random. James moves to Greece, then is banished to Earth by Zeus? Greece IS ALREADY ON EARTH. Duh. The United States is in Atlantis? How so? And so it goes, one incoherent statement after another.

3. It is badly written. The phrase "...James Madison called Xenu a monkey fucker because of how dumb the idea that he could set up giant mirrors in space, and the other crap they believe was" should win some kind of "Worst grammar of 2007" award. And "wearwolf" is spelled werewolf If the authors can't bloody spell then they should use a spellchecker! Use it HARD!

In my opinion the article version of 31 December was better than the current "wearwolf" version. It was no star, but at least it was not meme-y, random, and illiterate.
