A Tourist Training Camp is a camp in which tourists are trained in the art of mass tourism. Typical skills that a tourist develops on such a training camp, include:
- follow folded umbrellas.
- turn heads in the direction commanded by the bus-driver.
- take pictures of every church or large building encountered.
- strolling through small alleys to block the way for natives.
- bleach their legs so to horrify natives.
- sunbathing.
- wear bermudas and T-shirts in odd colours
- raid tourist shops.
- visit places like the Akropolis and the inside of pyramids in such large numbers, that they deteriorate.
- turn societies with traditional values into materialistic societies.
- complain that the food is different from the food at home.
- bore their friends and family to death with videos and photos.
One famous Tourist Training Camp is that of Osama Bin Laden. It is one of the prime targets of the global War on Tourism.
