The Battle of Chickens took place in 1066. It was a war between the two dominant video game chicken creatures, the Cuccos and the Chocobos.

How it Began[edit]

The Cuccos and the Chocobos were peaceful chicken-creatures, the Cuccos from the lands of Hyrule, and the Chocobos from the lands of Vana'diel. They lived peaceful lives in their own worlds. Then Square Enix and Nintendo merged. These two races soon heard of the other and plotted a battle to prove their superiority over all other chicken creatures.

The Competitors[edit]

The Cuccos are an elite race of chicken beasts from the sweeping plains of Hyrule. They are small and weak, but when they swarm, they are invincible. The Cuccos are led by a single Cucco, called the 'Hen'. Cuccos also come in two sizes, small and large. Small Cuccos are approximately 1.5 ft. tall and weigh between 5 and 10 lbs. Large Cuccos are approximately 4.5 ft. tall and weigh approximately 300 lbs. Cuccos, not surprisingly, taste like chicken.

The Chocobos are a peaceful race of oversized chickens monsters from the world of Vana'diel. They are used as riding beasts by the locals, and few can fly. Chocobos, though flightless, still have advanced skills in claw-to-claw combat. Young Chocobos are small and fat, whereas older Chocobos are tall and sleek. Chocobos, surprisingly, taste nothing at all like chicken. They taste like chocolate.

Both Cuccos and Chocobos are very talented warriors, besides the fact that both come from peaceful backgrounds.

Chocobos have a vast arsenal of weaponry, such as their Customized Barnyard Version AK47s and their homemade egg grenades.

Cuccos, however, do not use very advanced weaponry. Cuccos are limited to close-combat weapons, such ad razor talons, swords and knives. Cuccos do not possess opposible claws, thus cannot make anything more than basic mêlée weapons.
