~ Oscar Wilde on The Jestons

The Jetsons, aka 'The Jetson Five' were an early seventies boy band who rose to top forty stardom on the coattails of equally untalented acts The Jackson Five and The Osmond Brothers. The group consisted of George Jetson the youthful soprano of the group and his older brothers, Tito, Fidel, Stalin and Mao.

The group had a string of hits after which they would have descended into obscurity if not for the solo career of George, which skyrocketed when several of his videos went into regular rotation on MTV, the Man-toy Video network.

As his fame grew, so did George grow increasingly eccentric, both in his tastes and his lifestyle. After he failed to emerge as the Second Coming of Christ in 2000, he retreated to Santa Ynez Canyon in California where he built a ranch he calls Neverlad.

It was there in 2005 that he made his famous statement to the press, 'Never I had a lad'

George's grandson Kennedy Washington Quincy Adams Jefferson Roosevelt Jetson would eventually become President of the United States and die.
