This band is so damn good. Seriously really good.

~ Thrice on Thrice

If I were a girl, I'd have sex with this band.

~ Thrice on Thrice again!

I'm not a girl, but I'd have sex with this band.

~ Oscar Wilde on Thrice

I love this band so much my wrists are permanently scarred.

~ Emo Kid on Thrice

I'm not a thrice fan, so I'm gonna make jokes about emo's cutting themselves, and petty idiotic jokes that maybe someone will find funny.....and love me.

~ Whoever Write This Article Before I read it on Thrice

[edit] First Impressions & Identity Crisis (1998 - 2001)

I can relate to this album and it's title, because I am suffering from an identity crisis too. Wahhhh!

~ Emo Kid on Identity Crisis

These albums sucked. What were we thinking? How did we even get popular?

~ Thrice on First Impressions & Identity Crisis

Knowing that first impressions count, Thrice released their first EP titled First Impressions in 1998 which contained their worse material to date. Thrice to this date states that the horrible production, lyrics and music was a result of too much Frogger and Red Bull and that they deliberately wanted their first impression to be horrible.

Unbeknown to their drugged up Emo fans, Thrice were already writing and creating it's first scene kid recruiting album titled Identity Crisis. In 2001, Thrice released Identity Crisis to all 12 of it's fans and they loved it. All but 1 cutting their wrists in excitement for this new release.

Soon after all 12 Emo kids told their friends and showed them the album, Thrice's popularity boomed and they soon found themselves pulling crowds of up too 17 sometimes 20 Emo kids at one show. This would signal the start of a very long and popular career sometime down the track.

[edit] The Illusion of Safety (2002 – 2003)

Deadbooollltttttttt!!!!!!!!

~ Emo Kid on Requesting Deadbolt at a Thrice concert

Shutup about Deadbolt. We already played that song!!

~ Thrice on Deadbolt yelling fans

Soon after discovering that they had a talent for communicating with Emo kids, Thrice immediately went into the studio in 2002 to record a follow up album that would haunt them for the rest of their career. The popular track Deadbolt on The Illusion of Safety is their most popular too date. Emo kids can be heard yelling Deadbolt at the top of their lungs every 5 minutes whilst cutting their wrists and taking photos for their MySpace.

The Illusion of Safety attracted quite a lot of attention from major record labels after disovering Thrice's hidden talent of communication with the Emo population. They would later sign to Island Records and be exploited for their Emo communication super powers with the release of The Artist In The Ambulance.

[edit] The Artist in the Ambulance (2003 – 2004)

My heart bleeds every time I hear this album

~ Emo Kid on The Artist In The Ambulance

Just kill yourself already!

~ Oscar Wilde on Emo Kid

Released in 2003, The Artist In The Ambulance was Thrice's debut on major record label Island Records. Widely publicised by Emo kids and ex-fans as their best album ever to date, this album was believed to have contained new emo communication technology extracted from all band members of Thrice after drinking a "Rohypnol Power Shake" given to them by Bill Gates.
