I'll admit that I was nervous when he was opped, fearful that perhaps this unstoppable deluge of hilarious articles would subside and eventually dry up, as seems to happen with many good writers that are given bansteeqs. Some people may excel at being crazy or unusual, but Mhaille's wit rarely falls down into the gutter. Even when he's writing his patented tasteless articles, his articles still exude a thick air of classiness, and executes the tastelessness in the most clever way you've ever seen. • For the longest time, I was a stand-off observer of Mr. Mhaille. A bit of a secret admirer, if you will. I saw that this great force on Uncyclopedia that has carried this site for so long truly deserved everything he had earned. This is the personification of passion: Mhaille's full of it, and he shows us this in his writing. Recently, I have gotten to know Mhaille a little better through random encounters and whatnot. This has only furthered my view of him as both a strong pillar for the community, and an unstoppable force as a humorist. He's got it all. Mhaille's a great guy, a great op, and a great writer. • I know, this is getting real old (unless you have tl;dr'd my other speeches) for y'all, but there are just so many great nominees this year. However, this is my man. Modus is forever a symbol of genius in my mind. Everything from his talk page banter to his most recent articles and images demonstrates just how fucking funny this silly Canadian is. Modus is just one of those users that has always been here, has always been writing comedic gold, and is just fine with or without recognition. I've never seen him tire, I've never seen the quality of his works slip in the least. He's consistent. He just never runs out. Of the three other nominees I have taken the time to recognize, two have been ops. What Modus has in common with those ops is that they all are great at everything that they do. Modus gets things done, and still has time to write. He's a powerhouse, and is my ideal Uncyclopedian that I someday hope to be. I think we all aspire to be Modus in some form. There was something about it which made me think, "No - I'm not going to QVFD this one, I'm going to talk to the author and see what gives." A couple of days ago Nikau told me the article was complete, so I took a quick look. And what an absolute belter it is too! Undoubtedly one of the funniest articles I've read in a while, and the funniest by a noob ever, IMO. It's on VFH now and doing well for itself, too. Nikau, a man of few words but enormous talent, has been with us for nearly 30 days, so take a look at his work and vote for him quickly - this guy is going to be one of the Uncyc greats.    Thing is, it's a bending of the original rules that +3 days is eligible. The reason we stick to the rules is that eventually, +5 becomes eligible, then +10, then 2 months, and before you know it, Noob of the Month becomes Noob of the Year. It's not as much a matter of 5 days over a month making any difference whatsoever, it's a matter of the slow turn into the rules becoming more and more relaxed.
