Paedophobia is defined as the, mostly rational, fear of children. It is often characterised by the avoidance of all children, and everything of or relating to them (e.g. schools, McDonalds and Outside). Although paedophobia is more common in men, women can also suffer from a short-term equivalent known as post-natal paedophobia, which ironically occurs just after you’ve brought another child into the world.
