Hello, Avinalaugh, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Avinalaugh/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  -- [sire] EMC [TALK] 20:29 Mar 2 2010

Have I got it in for you?[edit]

Not at all. I've merely deleted those things - such as Rsybytitus - which fail Uncyclopedia's quality standards (I know - I thought the same thing when I heard we had quality standards, too). If you look at your contributions, you'll see that the vast majority of your contributions haven't been huffed or reverted by anybody at all. As for having it in for you, I had to look at your contributions and sift through my own to work out who you are - I revert/huff stuff that in my 4+ years here I've learned doesn't make the grade, I do not hover over a new user's contributions, rubbing my hands as I cackle maniacally and wait to remove every edit they make. Don't take things personally - virtually everybody gets a lot of their early edits reverted and few first articles survive for long. Most of my own were removed within minutes. If you'd planned on developing any of your articles further, I'll be happy to restore them to your own userspace where they can remain untouched until you're happy to release them back into the big, wide world. Otherwise, remember to use the {{construction}} tag on works in progress, which will give them one week during which they won't be deleted, allowing you to finish them. :-) Rabbi Techno Icons-flag-gb.png kvetch Icon rabbi.gif Contribs Foxicon.png FOXES 10:16, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
